Maggie
Female German Shepherd x KelpieDate of Birth: 5th May 2023Adoption Fee: $350Size: Medium/LargeMicrochip number: 953010006635990Source Number: RE100027
Maggie is a sweet-natured girl hoping for an understanding and caring family to care for her. Her ideal home is with people wanting to give a special needs dog the opportunity to thrive in a loving home environment. She can be wary of strangers and skittish in new situations. She wants a closer bond with her people but is still getting accustomed to being around people. She is a bit of a blank canvas but what she lacks in training she more than makes up for in potential and eagerness to please.
Maggie loves the company of other dogs and her confidence improves when she has a calm dog companion nearby. She likes to play and do zoomies with her foster brother (who is a Border Collie) and also appreciates lazing in the sun. She isn't very good around small dogs and is not suited to a home with cats, pocket pets or free-ranging chooks.
Maggie is still getting used to being around people. She is more comfortable around women but is interested in learning to trust both men and women. She is untested with children and would not cope in a rowdy or chaotic home. Her ideal home is with confident and relaxed people and a quiet environment. Her manners around the home are not bad. Her toilet training is improving and she is quiet through the night. Because she has a timid nature she is eager to do the right thing and learns quickly.
Maggie has great potential to be a loyal companion for someone who has an active lifestyle. All she needs is that person to give her a chance, commit to ongoing training and have plenty of love, understanding and support to offer her.

Hunter
Male Border CollieDate of Birth: 14th February 2018Adoption Fee: $350Size: MediumMicrochip number: 941000022658928Source Number: RE100027
Hunter dreams of finding the perfect home for him. He doesn't mind being in foster care but doesn't like sharing his foster parents with the resident dogs. He knows there's someone out there that will give him all the attention and love he desires. His perfect person (or family) have experience with his breed, enjoy giving their working dog breed an active lifestyle and are keen to help him relax and enjoy life.
Hunter is a sensitive soul who is easily stressed in unfamiliar environments or when there's too much going on around him. He is happiest in a calm environent with understanding and confident owners. While he enjoys the company of a well matched dog he isn't happy sharing his people and would prefer to be the only dog in the home. He is not interested in off-lead dog parks or doggy day care. He would prefer a long walk on a bush track, a run on a secluded beach, an adventure sniff along a quiet creek or a cuddle on the couch.
Hunter has great manners. He is perfectly toilet trained, is well behaved inside the home, sleeps through the night (inside of course) and isn't at all destructive. He is learning to walk well on lead and is improving daily. He sits for his dinner and travels well in the car.
Hunter has had some bad experiences in the past, particularly with being brushed and handled. He still needs extra care when being brushed, at the vet and when meeting new people.

Simon
Male Siberian HuskyDate of Birth: 7th December 2022Adoption Fee: $400Size: LargeMicrochip number: 978101084097065Source Number: RE100027
If you're looking for a loyal companion to join you on your adventures, Simon just might be your guy. Are you after a running budy, a hiking mate, a goofy sidekick, a charming clown. Simon is larger than life, fun-loving, cheeky, super smart and sometimes eager to please.
Simon is only young and still learning how to be a good boy. To be honest I think he enjoys being naughty. He sits on command about 50% of the time, he has selective hearing when it comes to recall, he walks well on lead most of the time until he feels like being a goofball. At least he is toilet trained and will hold on through the night.
Simon is social, friendly and affectionate. He loves meeting people, being the centre of attention and entertaining the crowd. He sings the song of his people when he isn't getting the attention he deserves and is super melodramatic when he doesn't get his way. He loves to put on a show.
Simon would prefer a home where he isn't left by himself for most of the time. He's happiest when he is hanging out with his people and taking all the loving he can get. He is interested in meeting other dogs but hasn't had a lot of socialisation. His friendly and easy-going nature helps him get to know other dogs is controlled introductions.
Simon is a delight, a larger than life character waiting to bring love and laughs to his forever home.

Male Parson Russell TerrierDate of Birth: 12 August 2023Adoption Fee: $800Size: SmallMicrochip number: 956000016248303Source Number: RE100027
Meet Turbo with his huge personality in a little body. Turbo wants a home where he gets plenty of exercise, adventures and fun times. Somewhere where he can get up to his regular mischief and where his people appreciate him and the shenanigans he brings.
Turbo is still a young kid, learning how to be a good boy. He's got some skills already and is eager to learn more. He knows sit and drop, travels nicely in the car and walks great on lead. He is toilet trained and is still learning proper inside etiquette. He likes to pretend he doesn't know his manners just to see what he can get away with. Despite this naughty attitude he does like to learn new things and enjoys positive interactions with his people. He's typical of his breed - super smart, cheeky, full of energy and a bit of a prankster.
Turbo would prefer a home without young children. While he does get along with some dogs he can be a bit of a bully to some male dogs. Because of this he isn't suited to off-lead dog parks, doggy day care or untested playdates. He is happy to share his home with a well matched canine companion but would be just as happy being the only dog in the home. Given that he is a terrier caution is advised around chooks or pocket pets. He is untested with cats.
